Electronic Repair Terms and Conditions

Repairing electronic devices such as drones, gaming consoles, amplifiers, and specialty equipment involves advanced diagnostics and, in many cases, custom or board-level work. These repairs carry inherent risks due to unavailable schematics, part scarcity, and pre-existing or hidden damage. At Prime Tech Support, we take every precaution to restore functionality while being transparent about the limitations of such services. By proceeding, you acknowledge the unique nature of electronic repairs. The terms below detail our diagnostic approach, warranty coverage (if applicable), parts policy, and important disclaimers you should understand before authorizing any work.

COSTS:

Diagnosis Fee:
The diagnostic fee is $80.00 and is non-refundable, but it will be applied toward the total repair cost if you proceed with the service.

 


REPAIR TIMEFRAMES:

Diagnostics:
Diagnostics for electronic devices are typically completed within 48 to 72 hours. Our team will notify you of the next available diagnostic window.

Repair Time:
After diagnostics are complete, we will provide you with an estimated repair timeframe:

  • If no replacement parts are needed, most repairs are completed within 2 to 5 business days.

  • If parts must be replaced, repair time will depend on supplier availability and shipping schedules.


RUSH SERVICE – OPTIONAL

Need your device back fast? Our Rush Service is designed to prioritize your repair from start to finish, giving your device immediate attention at every step.

For an additional $200.00 fee, your device will be placed at the top of our queue, and we will:

  • Begin diagnostics immediately upon receiving the device—no waiting required.

  • If replacement parts are needed, we will rush the order using the fastest available shipping method and provide the expedited shipping cost for your approval.

  • Once the parts arrive, your device will go directly into repair and testing—with no delays.

We aim to complete Rush Service repairs same-day or next-day whenever possible. However, actual turnaround time depends on:

  • Part availability and shipping time

  • Repair complexity

  • Any issues with defective or incorrect components

This service is ideal for customers who need their device urgently and want peace of mind knowing every step of the process is being accelerated on their behalf.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT ELECTRONIC REPAIRS:

Electronic repairs—especially at the component or board level—can be complex and unpredictable. While we use professional tools and expert techniques to repair your device, not all repairs are successful, even when components are replaced. Causes may include:

  • Deep or hidden internal damage

  • Previous failed repair attempts

  • Board instability or corrosion affecting other parts of the circuit

We always communicate honestly throughout the process and will do everything possible to achieve a successful outcome. Our team is committed to transparency and doing the best job possible for every customer.

Non-Standard Device Risk

Many of the electronics we service—such as drones, custom boards, or audio systems—do not have publicly available schematics, standardized components, or consistent repair paths. These factors may increase the risk of incomplete repair, limited testing ability, or difficulty sourcing parts. By authorizing service, you understand that repairs are based on technician expertise and may not restore full factory functionality.

Extended Labor for Complex Cases

If the repair involves several hours of advanced diagnostics, custom component fabrication, or extensive rework, we may apply additional labor charges—but only with your written approval in advance. This ensures fairness and allows us to dedicate the necessary time and tools to attempt repair on unique or highly specialized devices.
